Customisable replica PSV Driver/Conductor badge
UPDATE: 3 November 2025
Blanks are due tomorrow with a view to press them in the evening and dispatch Wednesday 5 November. Thanks for your continued patience, we can assure you they’re worth the wait!
Now here’s a blast from the past! PSV badges were worn by Drivers (red) and Conductors (green) and assisted with identifying them to the public and showed they were licensed to operate or collect fares.
They were phased out in the late 80s/90s meaning that anyone who became a Driver since then wasn’t issued with one (some bus companies did continue the tradition for a few years).
However, you can now get your hands on your very own personalised PSV badge. Meticulously redrawn from the original, these can be personalised with your traffic area and also role number (a list of traffic areas are shown in the gallery opposite).
Not a Driver or Conductor? No worries, why not use your initials for the traffic area and your date of birth for the identification number.
Each badge is handmade to order with the design heat pressed to the face of the badge. They’re 50mm in diameter and around 4mm thick. They come supplied in a gift tin with matching topper, perfect for gifts. They also also have a pin badge on the rear for fixing.
If you’re planning to put yours in an authentic leather holder, please ensure that ‘rear fixing’ is unticked when ordering and we won’t attach a fastening so it fits snuggly in your pouch.
Proudly made in Britain.
