PSV badges were worn by Drivers (red) and Conductors (green) and assisted with identifying them to the public and showed they were licensed to operate or collect fares.
They were phased out in the late 80s/90s meaning that anyone who became a Driver since then wasn’t issued with one (some bus companies did continue the tradition for a few years).
However, you can now get your hands on your very own personalised PSV badge style keyring. Meticulously redrawn from the original, these can be personalised with your traffic area and also role number (a list of traffic areas are shown in the gallery opposite).
Choose from either 35mm or 50mm (width) design, made from metal (sourced in the UK) and printed and pressed here in Birmingham. Each keyring has the design printed on both sides.
